Mel Grant
Mel Grant founded SFX Preferred Resorts in 1992. The San Francisco Exchange Company was originally created to service the unique needs and expectations of the San Francisco Bay Area vacation exchange owner.
He saw a growing need for a “boutique” vacation exchange company that catered to highly proclaimed resorts in the US, Mexico, Caribbean, Canada, Europe and beyond.
Today, SFX has over 200,000 members who enjoy the benefits of a luxury vacation network. Grant is now focused on bringing the same integrity and quality upon which SFX was founded to grow the SFX member base and resort network.

Brad McDonald
Brad McDonald joined the SFX team with over 30 years of experience in the vacation exchange industry. In his previous position as Senior Vice President at ICE, he focused on global product development, partnership alliance and business growth.
Prior to that role, McDonald served as SVP, Alliances and Product Development for Wyndham Worldwide Corporation and also as VP, Business Development for RCI. His executive knowledge of loyalty programs and innovative technology make him an incredible leader for SFX.
McDonald is now focused on enhancing SFX customer care, member benefits, and expanding vacation exchange developer sales and marketing programs.
Director of Information Technology
Stan Wong
Stan Wong built the first customized exchange software platform for SFX in 1997. His knowledge of relational databases and application development has helped SFX grow exponentially in the vacation exchange industry.
Currently Wong is focused on enhancing SFX technology to support connectivity and future growth.
His team’s contributions allow members, agents, resorts and industry partners access to more vacation exchange tools and resources.
