"Nice place, older, could use some air fresheners. No AC, one portable fan, one ceiling fan. Small refrigerator. Close to most things you want to see or do. No on property parking. Valet parking available at a cost, probably a good investment. Morning newspaper is a nice surprise. "

"A very quaint one bedroom suite in a great location directly opposite the cable car. Within walking distance of Union Square and (if you enjoy walking and don’t mind sizeable hills) the Financial District, Pier 39 and North Beach, etc. Great welcoming staff and a sense of feeling safe and secure in this nice area. Would definitely stay here again."

"The location is good if you can navigate the Powell St. hill. We were assigned to the 3rd floor on the side of the hotel without an elevator. You needed to be in shape to manage the stairs several times a day."
