"The Fives was a very nice resort, but mainly in the newer and adults only areas. Beachfront is best but too few rooms."

"The suites were okay but nothing special. There was a lovely full kitchen with absolutely nothing in it. Not a spoon, plate or bowl. The bathroom lacked privacy and counter/storage space. The hallways outside the rooms were noticeably dirty. We thankfully had unlimited dinner reservations. After reading online reviews we were happy to walk past lines of people waiting for tables. The restaurants were mostly very open and noisy. The food quality and service varied greatly. At breakfast buffets food other than at the omelette bar was consistently cold which might be the reason for many online comments about food poisoning. Thankfully our dedicated concierge was wonderful and did what he could to improve our experience at the resort. Would we return to the "family friendly " Fives? Definitely not."
