This was a wonderful resort with it's own access to the beach across the street. Our room had a nice view and we enjoyed watching many sunsets from our deck. We really enjoyed the grounds with several gas fireplaces to gather around, the pool and two hot tubs. Another high point was the live music that was provided two times during our 1 week stay. The staff was extremely helpful.

This was my first time staying at Carlsbad Beach Inn. My husband stayed with an exchange week. Carlsbad Inn’s location to restaurants, shopping, and the beach were amazing. The rooms were very well equipped from cooking, comfy bedding, and beach essentials. The staff was very nice as well. The only downside was the construction going on during the week starting at 9am every morning. One evening when walking into our condo one of the construction workers were blowing off the second floor onto the first floor. They had been working on the concrete all day above us. Concrete has silica in it and we both got it in our eyes.
Minus the later we would stay here again if we could.

The Carlsbad In Beach Resort is a charming, beautiful, well-organized vacation destination in a perfect setting. The front desk was able to accommodate us with an amazing ocean view room which just happened to be available. Staff extremely friendly. Location can't be beat for walking to restaurants and shops. Grocery store convenient with a short drive.

One bedroom unit was good. The mini kitchen was ok/on the small side, but included all the utensils, dishes etc. Wifi was excellent and the room was comfortable. The resort is very close to the beach and shops/restaurants, all within walking distance.

My unit (Oak side which is Saturday check in) had been completely remolded. I also appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs they store in the unit.
