The people at Kauai Coast Resort did everything we asked of them and more. The place is not grand and real fancy with snooty staff, instead it was exactly what we wanted - very nice grounds, great staff, great location, and great room!

The location in Kapaa was convenient in that usually we stay at Poipu or occasionally at Princeville. So this gave us a chance to explore the central part of the island at a more leisurely pace. Overall, however, we like our own unit at The Point at Poipu much better.

The Kauai Coast Resort at Beachboy is a great facility... one of the few that are actually on the beach. It is also centrally located in Kauai, making it easy to drive to all the points of interest around the island within an hour.

The resort was small, but had good amenities including nice gas grills for guest use and having a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the unit.

The pools and rooms would be nicer if they were a little more updated. Everyone who works there was super nice. The restaurat was amazing ad the waitresses were very friendly as well. I love the poolside bar - that was fun. It was really great that they had a kids pool as well. It was a very fun vacation. We will be back!
